Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Robert founded Robert Marcus Real Estate Inc. (RMRE) in 1983, building a firm that has managed and developed commercial and multi‑unit residential properties throughout the metropolitan Boston area for more than four decades. In 1999, recognizing a growing need for professional‑quality home maintenance for individual residences, he launched Home Maintenance Organization (HMO) as a sister company—leveraging the proven commercial management infrastructure he had developed over the previous 16 years.

RMRE’s commercial clients have included U.S. Trust, Ocwen Bank, Lexington Savings Bank, The Federal Savings Bank, Fleet Bank, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Massachusetts, as well as educational institutions. On the residential side, the firm has served more than 200 condominium associations and apartment building owners.

Prior to founding RMRE, Robert worked at a Massachusetts real estate development firm. He is affiliated with the Institute of Real Estate Management, the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Robert has authored articles for Banker & Tradesman and the New England Journal of Real Estate and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts, after attending the University of Texas at Austin.
